A Doctor's 8 Reasons Why He Left "Modern Medicine"

why MD quit medical profession

So many of the readers here still believe (more or less) than all MD Doctors are the same. The following video explains a more human side of a former MD physician who quit his profession mainly due to the over-reach he endured his entire career by the regulatory medical bodies.

In the video he explains how the "modern medical" model is based on viewing the human body in sub-component parts and everyone is treated as if they were products on an assembly line.  That is how their methodology is taught and practiced.  This is the way especially how the legal framework is handled and spreads liability between separate specialists who often do not communicate with each other.

What he  does not delve into much is how even "functional medicine" is severely restricted in how they can practice and what they can tell patients.   This is one of the major downsides of "regulated" professions.

Does this sound like "healthcare?"  No, it sounds more like "sick care" and indeed it is.

On this Thanksgiving morning, I awoke with an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It may come as a surprise to some, but what I am truly thankful for is the fact that I walked away from practicing medicine. I had fought tooth and nail to keep my license, but eventually, I made the decision to let it lapse and leave it all behind.

Looking back, I am convinced that if I had continued down that path, it would have led to my demise. The stress and anxiety of dealing with the medical establishment were slowly draining the life out of me. I couldn't practice medicine in the way I believed was best for my patients - treating each individual as unique and tailoring their treatment accordingly.

That's when I discovered functional medicine in 2008, and it became the foundation of my new journey. So, today, I want to express my gratitude to all those who pushed me to reevaluate my career choice, even though it felt like it was killing me. Now, at 63 years old, I am in a much better state, both physically and mentally, than I was at 57 when I made the life-altering decision to leave everything behind and start anew in a different place, far away from Oklahoma.

In 2017, I found myself in a situation where I had left behind so many important things - my clothes, my house, my pianos, my medical and bachelor's degrees, my books, and my music. None of these belongings were returned to me, but strangely enough, it felt liberating. It reminded me of the powerful lyrics penned by Chris Kristopherson, "freedom is just another word for Nothing Left to Lose."

However, I have managed to come out on the other side since then. When you find yourself going through hell, the key is to keep going. I have embarked on a new career path, gained a sense of enlightenment, and developed the ability to understand people's problems without the constant pressure from medical boards, governments, or insurance companies. Although I do miss delivering babies as an obstetrician gynecologist and being skilled in vaginal and pelvic reconstructive surgery, I am grateful for the amazing surgeons who trained me and shared their invaluable tips and tricks. Unfortunately, there were also individuals who aimed to destroy my career, such as the medical board and those associated with it. However, their actions made me reflect on my unhappiness and ultimately pushed me to make a change.

I find myself reminiscing about the days when I used to deliver babies and perform surgeries. It's been quite a few years since I last did a C-section, forceps delivery, or any other surgical procedure. Sometimes, I wake up from dreams where I'm still in the operating room, wondering if I could still do it. However, as much as I miss it, I know I wouldn't go back to it. Instead, I've found fulfillment in teaching others things they haven't learned before.

This is the confusing propaganda that misleads us all

confusing medical propaganda that misleads us all

There's no such thing as a "balanced diet" & nutrition isn't merely food. Why is that? It's because we're all individuals. Orthomolecular nutrition is the individualized analysis application of the substances within the food which our bodies often do not obtain enough of and are often blocked by antagonists.

"Nutrition" is far more than merely the trivial concept of food.

Botanists analyze the terrain to help plants prevent and restore cell function. Why not for humans?

What are YOUR individual cell nutritional imbalances?

If you're a doctor feeling the same way I did, maybe it's time to consider a different career path. It's frustrating that we can't always share certain knowledge with our patients, but it's not the doctors themselves who are to blame. The real issue lies with the non-medical individuals who regulate our profession. As long as you conform to the system and follow the prescribed algorithm, you'll be fine. But that just turns you into another cog in the machine, and that's not what being a doctor should be about.

I possess the ability to teach you various algorithms, and I'm confident that most of you would be able to understand what to do when faced with someone exhibiting symptoms and the desire to alleviate those symptoms. However, the art of healing individuals requires careful consideration and personalization.

That's why I am immensely grateful that in 2008, I embarked on a journey to retrain myself in integrative and functional medicine. I fought diligently to maintain my license until 2017, when I ultimately decided to pursue a different path. Little did I know that there was another fulfilling career awaiting me beyond the realm of medical practice.

Many of you have inquired about why I don't share my insights through videos on Rumble. Well, I do have an account there under the name "Health without risk." On that platform, I am not subjected to censorship, allowing me to freely express my thoughts and opinions. If you're interested in hearing my unfiltered perspective, feel free to visit my Rumble account. I have already uploaded a few videos that you may have come across on TikTok, but I plan to create exclusive content for Rumble, where I can provide you with the unadulterated truth.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I encourage you all to take a moment to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life and express your gratitude. And remember, don't indulge too much in carb-heavy foods! Have a fantastic day, and I'll catch up with you later. Take care and goodbye!

Why grooming and nutrition are the same conversation

Most commercial pet foods are optimised for shelf life — not cellular health. Rendered fats, synthetic additives, and heat-processing mean even a "complete" diet can leave key systems running on empty.

The signs show up on the outside first — dull coat, brittle nails, waxy ears, greasy skin, low energy. These aren't cosmetic problems. They're your pet's body broadcasting nutrient stress. That's exactly what every grooming session reads.

Nutrients don't work in isolation — they act as synergists (enhancing each other's absorption) and antagonists (competing for the same transporters).
